S.E., the Almighty Troll

These are the stats for Great, Mighty, Almighty Golbez cards in GC JP:

What the fuck?? O_O lol And don't get your hopes up. SE will probably nerf them in the NA version (unless they do another 'Xmas Banshee' and leave them untouched).

Happy New Year! =3

Hackers of the world, represent!

Hi, guys! Been really busy IRL, especially with Christmas fast approaching. I've always advocated 'giving back to the community' so here's your chance! As mentioned in my previous post, hacks are still possible. So, let's see what you can do.

Post below what you can hack, proof (screenshot or video if possible), and your country (optional - I got curious when someone mentioned the phrase 'asian hacker race' lol). And please stop with the useless 'begging' comments. If they want to share how they did it, then they will. Oh, and no racist remarks either.

----------

On a more personal note, I do read all your emails. Apologies if I have not replied yet (or on time). Every time a begging comment is posted, it adds +1 to my inbox. Blame them, lol!

Happy Holidays! I love you all! Ciao! =3

What update??

The community has been shaken by 1.1, but don't believe the lies. Just posting this small note to let you know that the following are still hackable:

- cards
- stones
- SHT
- multi-accounts

Enjoy! =3

Get any card you want

I know this isn't due yet but what the hell, think of it as an early Christmas gift. Also, memory editing will be fixed come patch 1.3 so stock up while you can ;)

I discovered this while people were still trying to learn the type-change hack. Sure, hints were dropped (7=Ace, 6=Sexy, etc..) but it's too tiresome to trace all the variables and start from there. So it got me thinking, "Why change the type of a card, if you can change the card itself?" I dug around and Bingo! it was in my face the whole time.

You just need to change the card no. to get any card you want.

So for example, if you have an Ace Revenant (card no 030031) and want to switch it to an Ace Vamp Matron, just search for "030031" in GamePlayer and change it to "040007" (VM card no.). When you check back in your inventory, the card should now LOOK like a Vamp Matron but it's not fully transformed. You need to send it to another account. When you do, you will see that the trade avatar (the small square pic) is correct but the name is wrong. The stats are also wrong on the card. This should be fixed once the receiving party gets it. The only problem is the skill. The base skill is retained.

-------------------------------------------

How to workaround the skill problem:

1. Search for a base card that has the same original skill as the new card you will be transforming into (If you want a Level 1 card)
2. Max level the card to get the other skills. But only if you do not need the first skill. (If it's ok to have a Level 60 card and you don't need the original skill)
3. Or you can set the card to level 0, level up to trigger the correct 1st skill, THEN max level as normal (This is also for Level 60 card)

-------------------------------------------

- You should really thank SE for pissing me off again today! haha
- The type-change hack is also starting to go public in one of your favorite hacking sites. It's out there if you still want to learn. Didn't post it here because I want to maintain simple, easy-to-do hacks
- As mentioned, gifting is an important part of fully resetting the card. Simply closing and relaunching the app will not work. If you level up a card without gifting, it may retain the skillset of the original card
- Learning this hack has also allowed me to live a normal life again. I no longer stress getting into the Coli ranks. Just wait for Monday when they push the new card info and *poof*

If you got other, easier ways to do this (or the type change hack), feel free to drop me a message below. Ciao!

JP GC patch 1.3

Patch 1.3 just hit Japanese Guardian Cross and reports are coming in that memory editing has been fixed. It also makes you re-download the app from the App Store which tells me there's a major rewrite of coding somewhere. Lastly, it looks like your account is NOT tied-in with the MAC any longer.

Is this the fix we've been waiting for?

Heard through the grapevine

How are you guys holding up? Looks like SE is doing something right (or wrong, depends which side of the fence you're on). Also heard that they are working with a few hackers to fix the loopholes. Is this true? This could get interesting....I wanna see where this leads.

I might lie low for a while, see what happens in the next few weeks (if GC is still alive haha). But feel free to leave me a message in the Comments section. My email is also here, somewhere, in this blog. lol

Custom cards

Ok, so I've been offering this service to my close friends and I'm curious if other people would be interested, too. As the title implies, I can create custom cards. And the most common request is to "Add Revive! Add Revive!" lol

I've added Revive to 5-stars. Created Ace Almighty's and added Revive to them. Added ATK+10% and ATK+20% to cards that shouldn't have those buffs. Anyway, send me an email what you want. I charge $20-50 for each card.

Why would you want one? So you can enter the Coli with legit-looking cards. Who would suspect WIS +30% on a Lightning Lord? :)

Super Saiyan mode

Ok, so I've been having second thoughts releasing this hack, but it seems it's starting to come out so might as well post it here. The Super Saiyan mode basically allows you to defeat ANY deck you will come up against.

How to do it:
1. Same with previous hacks in GamePlayer, start with a level 1 card. Search for '1' in GamePlayer. This normally gives you about 600,000+ results
2. Sacrifice three 1* cards. It should now be level 2. Search again in GamePlayer; it should now be down to 150-300 results.
3. Sacrifice another three 1* cards. Search again in GamePlayer. If you have two DWB's, you may have to sacrifice a final batch of lowbies.
4. Once you've traced the variable, just set it to a high number (I usually set to '999' but you can go higher. Wouldn't matter anyway)
5. You will notice that the card is level 999 but the stats and skills did not change. Feed a single magic stone, and the stats should follow. Unfortunately, the skills won't, so your best bet is to feed it skill +4 stones. Or not. With stats in the 10,000-20,000 range, even the built-in skill +2 will kill an opponent.

Other things to know/consider:
1. This is only in effect for the CURRENT session. The moment you close GC and relaunch it, you will have a max level card with missing skills (unless you fed it skill stones).
2. This is a local hack. If anyone from your Friends list battles you, they will see a 'normal' card and may or may not defeat you.
3. And that is the reason why I chose to release this hack. This guarantees you 100% victory in your battles but you still need to build up your points/rank in the Coliseum games to get a prize card.
4. Feeding a guardian currently in Super Saiyan mode will make even a 5* card jump from level 1 to level 60 in an instant. The best part is that you still get the prompt for choosing which skills to retain.

Card leveling (updated)

What are the fastest ways to level up a card?

1. Feed duped SS
2. Alter the card level in GamePlayer
3. Use a card in Super Saiyan mode as feeder

What's Super Saiyan mode? See the next blog post.

Added: While feeding a card in Super Saiyan mode, the card's level is taken into consideration when calculating for the GP cost. I've downgraded to using level 200-240, which should be about just 1-2K GP

Your course of action

So, now that you know how to do all these, what's the best course of action? This is how I do my new accounts. Please feel free to share yours.

1. Generate new UDID/MAC to create a new GC account
2. Generate dummy accounts to get 10 referrals. New accounts only have 10 friend slots, any more and the Add Friend reward is wasted.
3. Or you can continue to 25 referrals to get your first 5* card (Lord of the Inferno).
4. You should have 500 FP. Now start duping the shit out of your Friend Points for some SHT (Special Hunting Tickets).
5. In no time, you will build your army of 4* and 5* cards. You can also use your 3-stars as feeder and/or GP generation.
6. Trade your spare 5* for stat/skill stones.
7. You are now ready to dupe stones. (Tip: Focus on a certain kind first. Once you can generate a certain stat stone, it will be easy to trade them with another kind. Trade 5 for 5. With your new set of 5 stones, you can start the duping process again. Rinse. Repeat.)
8. Stone your Guardians.
9. Enter the Coliseum legitimately. (Do not hack FP for Coliseum Passes. Many suggest this is why higher-tier players in the Coliseum games were banned)
10. ???
11. Screw SE in the ass.

And we have just done a full circle. Remember, the ultimate goal of this blog is to help legit players who were wrongfully banned start anew and pick up the pace, hopefully as near as possible to where they left off.

Altering the card level and skills (WIP)

Altering the card level works on the same principle as the previous hacks. You simply need to pinpoint the value (in GamePlayer) and change it. However, the stats will NOT jump to the correct values for that certain level. But you can stone them until you hit the correct values.

Some of you may have already guessed this. If you can upgrade to a certain level, then you can also downgrade. Now, why would you do that? To re-spec your Guardian. Skills are triggered when you hit a certain level, so be sure to hack the value to 14, 29, 39, and 49 first, THEN feed them to level up and trigger the skill window. ((The only problem here is if the card is already at max level. It will be harder searching for the variable that stores the card's level))

* I will need to do more testing on this. This article is a work-in-progress (WIP).

How to dupe Friend Points

Hacking FP is almost the same as duping stones, with a few things to remember:

1. You need to be in the Redeem Points section before searching for any value. Changing screens inside GC will invalidate your previous results.
2. Finding a 'DW' value is fine, as long as it is the ONLY result left. Pretty sure that's it :)
3. After locating and changing the FP value, you need to purchase another item before the new value is 'seen' by the app.
4. You can only carry a max of five Hunting Tickets and five Coliseum Passes. If you have enough FP, buy Recovery Potions instead.
5. Do not go over 10,000 FP.
6. Do not buy Boon of the Gods. Doing this will result in an instant ban of your account.

How to dupe stones

To successfully dupe stones, you must have at least 4 of the same kind. Better if you have 5 or 6 stones.

1. Launch GC app. Check how many stones you currently have (of the one you wish to dupe)
2. Go back to Home. Launch GamePlayer
3. Search for the current number of stones. Let's say you have five pieces of AGI III. Type '5' and Search (press the magnifying icon)
4. You will probably get 100,000-300,000+ results
5. Switch back to GC and consume one AGI III stone. This should put your volume count down to 4
6. Switch back to GamePlayer and press the backspace key until the previous number is erased. Now type '4' and Search again. This will search through the previous results. Usually it will show 100-500+ results. You're getting closer
7. Switch back to GC and consume another stone
8. On the third search, GamePlayer will probably have caught your value by then. Otherwise, repeat until necessary. You are looking for a value that is 'DWB'. This means it is writeable. 'DW' is just readable, but you cannot actually modify the data.
9. So assuming you have traced the data storage of the value, simply change it (wait for the countdown) and switch back to GC. It will not refresh while in the part where you are actually stoning the Guardian. Go back one screen and press 'Magic Stone' again. It should now reflect the new value.
10. If you want to dupe your other stones, simply repeat steps 1 through 9. To start a completely new search, click on the Menu button (below SearchItem 1 dropdown) and Select application

* Do not go over 99 stones, or your app will crash.

Preliminary work for FP and stone duping

You need a few apps for FP/stone duping to work:

a. SBSettings (personal preference)
b. OpenSSH (prerequisite app)
c. Backgrounder (needed)
d. GamePlayer (needed - latest version at yuan.duowan.com)

Once installed, you need to do the following:
1. In Backgrounder, go to Overrides and Add both GC and GamePlayer
2. Set them to Forced
3. Set all options to On
4. Check if you can still use IAPFree
5. If IAPFree starts crashing, go to Backgrounder and set Global to Off (otherwise, just set it to Native)

Also, you are taking a security risk by installing OpenSSH. To counter this, you can do one of two things:
1. install MobileTerminal and change the default password (I trust you can Google how to do this)
2. install SBSettings and with just a swipe of the finger, you have the option to enable and disable SSH on your device

MAC spoofing and completing your referrals (updated with IAPFree 3.0.1 repo)

Building on top of the previous post, you just need to have a different MAC address for SE's servers to think that you are a brand new device. You will need a jailbroken device for this to work:

1. Close your Guardian Cross app (double-click Home and exit out of the GC in the background, too)
2. From Cydia, Download IAPFree (Just google for the source/repository if you can't find it)
3. In IAPFree, go to Disguise
4. Generate a fake UDID
5. Generate a fake MAC Address
6. Relaunch your Guardian Cross app. If it still shows your old data, you may try reinstalling it (through iTunes or wifi download)
7. Create as many accounts as you need to complete your referrals

By changing your MAC, you will also be able to have access to as many accounts as you like, controlled through one device. All you need to do is take note of which UDID/MAC address pair you used for which account.

* Note: You will be needing IAPFree 3.0.1 for iOS 5.1.1. Try this Cydia repo: http://cydia.myrepospace.com/bpranke/

What you first need to know

The first thing you need to know is this: your GC account is tied-in with your device's MAC address. This is how SE's servers authenticate your device. A lot of people, during launch week, went as far as factory wiping their device to make it look like a new device. They were hoping to refer themselves and get all the referral promo cards.

You can get your device's MAC by going to Settings -> General -> About -> Wi-Fi Address. DO NOT GIVE THIS OUT TO ANYONE. Some scammers have asked for this piece of info (usually before trading) to "check" with SE if the cards you are about to trade with them are legit. There is absolutely no basis for this. All this will accomplish is give them access to your device. At that point, say goodbye to your cards.

Introduction

This blog was created on Nov 11, 2012, in response to the recent mass banning "festival" of SE for their game Guardian Cross. After receiving a lot of complaints, they decided to check their script again, and found  out that they have included a lot of legit and honest players in the crossfire.

They have unbanned several players, and given them two Special Hunting tickets in return. Except my friends and I are still banned. It disgusts me more to learn that a few dupers have also been unbanned. (FP hackers for Coliseum tickets remain banned, though).

For all the inconvenience and names they tarnished in the process, I cannot accept their apology. Especially when Special Hunting tickets are generously given in the Japanese version of the game.

We are putting up this blog for all the legit players who still want to play. We are putting up this blog for all the players who were cheated out of their Coliseum wins by hackers/dupers. We are putting up this blog to have a fighting chance against people who just "bought" their way into the Coliseum.

And to the greedy, incompetent people working at SE, "What is the point of a trading card game if people are afraid to trade??"
